Planning on Saturday January 20 - (1/20/18) for those of yous that can't reed.
NOW THEN - Where do you want to meet ? Pontiac has been thrown out but we are probably open to all suggestions !!!

Got excited when I saw it was on I 55 (Pontiac) then googled 378 miles 6.5 hrs bad as I would like to meet some off you guys guess I will have to wait.. LOL Have a good get together, nothing like putting a face with the name..

The more I think about it, do you want to eat in the PeoRia metro area and then go to the Caterpillar Visitor Center ?? ($7+/-)
KINDA think they still have a display of EARLY Holt/Cat tractors and across from the former World Headquarters !

PS: glennster may wander off to BIG AL'S to reminisce.

Count me in , sure wish I could think of a place to tour I don't think I have ever been to the Cat display though did the tour many years back

There is a Ag. museum at Princeville, Ill. that is where We hold our Central Ill. Antique Tractor Club Meetings (has a lot of old machines, 1 lunger engines and tractors. Good place to eat are Pizza Ranch, Morton, Ill. Pizza Ranch on War Memorial drive Peoria and Gebby's on War Memorial Drive for breakfast. Our A T H S truck club meets at Pizza Ranch (Morton) Woody's El Paso and sometimes at Hen House at Carlock, Ill. on I-74 I don't know what they charge for Cat museum in Peoria but the Museum in Princeville is just a donation. I'll keep checking on here and see what is the final decision. Pat. P. East Peoria.

Someone say "Rib's" We go to Galesburg several time a year to the Rib Shack it open's at 5:00 pm and has the best b b q this side of Bryant's in K.C. Mo. owner Joe Kennedy He buy's sauce by the 55 gallon barrel's and ribs by semi load. Does all His own smoking and it's melt in your mouth tender. I hope some don't get offended by My recomadation's but I'm just telling it how it is in My opinion. Pat. P.

I believe the museum in Princeville is named Ostrum Museum on the east edge of Princeville just north of Rt. 91 also there is "Wheels of Time" Museum on the north edge of Peoria on the west side of the road (Old rt. 88) now Rt. 40 lots of old cars and ect. Pat. P.

Hate to add to the confusion, but here is a Red museum in Galva. 'Course that is 50 miles north of P.O.ria???
