It's easier than turning a 0 in to a 1.

I still remember like it was yesterday,writing a check at the hardware store and Verna Bush saying "Can you believe it's 1977 already?".
 
No problem for me. I have neither any money or a checking account and I will always believe that it is 1972.
 
How am I going to write a check, its to cold to get out of the house, Wait the wife paid a bill and wants me to go put it in the mail box.
 
I'm almost thinking about getting a cath By the time you get through all the layers of clothing and then try to find the little bugger its too late
 
I do well for the first week or so. Then revert to the last year when the "newess" wears off. LOL They still seem to cash them OK.
 
I'm not sure exactly what happened but for the first hour we used flashlights and cell phones at work only lights on were the emergency lights. Finally the guy in charge showed up and got them working . The rumor mill has it that the lights are on timers and someone forgot to set it to 2018
 
I remember when it was going to change to 2000 and all the doomsayers. I wish I had the money that was spent to test computer software, it must have been billions and then when it was about to turn to 2000 everyone held their breath that the world would continue .
