If you have been following, I have been fabricating swing out tool carriers for my Case 431T tractor and firewood processor.
I went down in the cellar to my wood working shop and sawed and planned some Ash rough sawn boards to make scabbards to carry my two saws on the fold out tool frames that I built onto my tractor. I also fabed up a mount for a vise to hold the saws when they need sharpening, and mtg. brackets for a crow bar, pickaroon, ax, and splitting maul. I fabed up a mount for a small vise on the RH fold out to clamp my saws in to sharpen them. That will be a big improvement over the old drive in a block bar clamp that I tried.
Some of the brackets are just clamped in place to make sure they will work. I will put finishing touches/mods on them and weld them in place tomorrow. That should wrap up the tool carriers. Then back to finishing up the 2 post canopy.

Hey Loren-----I've got a couple of Cases now, will I need to carry all of those tools to work on them????---Tee

Loren,I was wondering-do you only cut wood from one side? I noticed your measuring sticks on your saws, and you could only measure your cuts left to right.I usually have to cut from both sides, even when I drag up logs.Mark.

I cut both ways. To cut blocks to the LH side, of bar, I just pick a visual spot at end of guide, on log with bar against last cut and saw there. Not hard and is accurate.

Is that the kitchen sink on top of the tool carrier in the last photo? Wouldn't be surprised if it was. Haha Looks great and will work great!

That is lookin real good Loren! You will be able cut enough wood to effect climate change. Lol

looking good... keep up the good work

I would like to build a woods tool rack like that for on our W4, but never have much room to get a tractor in the shop for very long. Finding Material won't be that hard either. I just have to ask to get some tube drop/scrap stock from work, however that comes out of the paycheck(if permission to take is granted) for any thing of useable size.

Thanks for the pictures. Nice saw holders. I liked the Swiss-army-knife comment below. I was wondering if the air coming off the radiator will warm the tools in the winter, maybe not in the recent weather. Paul
