I have a 350 john deere dozer that has a bosch injector pump, I have took it to 2 different places and both said it needed a head and couldn't find one, so is it possible to replace it with a roosa master pump and shaft? The shaft is built into the bosch.

Most Bosch VA and some VE pumps have the smaller 17MM tapered shaft. Stanadyne/Roosa pumps use the larger 20MM tapered shaft like most VE pumps use. 17MM shaft has a 19MM wrench size nut, 20MM shaft use 22MM wrench size nut. List the complete 0 460 xxx xxx number, maybe an IH Neuss pump would work, but those are hard to find parts for too. Is the housing front pilot 50MM size?

you might try hurricane equipment 3045625140, or blount parts and equipment 800 659 3111 both very good people to deal with i have bought from both hope this help

DT> didn't the BR pump get sup. to the CR pump & THEN we could cross it to a CAV??
BUT your right.. GOTTA have the 10 digit P#.

Deere sold a kit to replace it. I have no idea if the old Deere kit # gets you anything anymore. Kit # DD12359

I am still wondering how a 350 crawler with a Robert Bosch rotary-distributor pump wound up in the USA? Or did someone swap in a 152 engine from a 820 wheel tractor?

The dozer was built in Germany, back in the 80's Georgia Tractor was selling these pretty cheap, they were all coming from Europe, we bought this one to re sell, it was in such good shape that my Dad sold his 350B and kept this one, after Dad passed away my Nephew ended up with the dozer, I bought it back from him last year, I want to get it running again.

THATS some GOOD info JDEM !!!!
I had no idea the BR could be crossed to Stanadyne..
I knew the CAV could be retrofitted {RotoDiesel}
The poster could go to THAT SITE & Get the pump #'s & MAKE SURE the drive gear #'s are the same.
Then its pretty much fitting inlet & outlets & maybe "bending" the injector lines to fit??
THEN the throttle linkage to fit??
Like I said.. Great info !!

Most likely needs at least a different timing gear case and pump drive gear, never saw a CAV DPA or Stanadyne with the smaller 17MM tapered drive shaft if that's what his is. If it's 20MM, yes those exist, but that still would take a different gear case, CAV DPA and Stanadyne housings don't bolt on the same pattern as his early VA AR/BR version does.

I have a new old stock pump that looks just like your's. Email me if you are interested.I don't know what it is for but the head should be good you could proble use it in your pump. I bought a dealer ship out and that was in the lot.
