11.2 x 36 Tire - Cheapest I've seen

I know that 11.2 x 36 size tractor tires are harder to find. I have one tire on the tractor that is looking really bad and is not going to last much longer. This is the cheapest price that I have seen. I want to put it on my Farmall C. Tire is 4-ply. I assume it should be fine?

We put one of those on my wife's SuperC. It is just fine. Only wish I'd bought 2 to have a matched set on the tractor.

Over 20 years ago I was told that I needed new tires on my W Speed Patrol. Well this past summer I did have to replace on of them due to the side wall giving out and put a hole in the tube which I did patch. Ya maybe buy the tire now and then store it in the back of the shed till the one you have on does finally go

I bought a firestone field and road last year for our super c. Going off memory, but seems like it wasn't too much than that price. Not available anymore?

Google search. Never dealt with this company.

Wow! Have you thought about shopping local? I don't know how things are where you live, but that's almost as much as I paid for a 15.5 38 Carlyle 8 ply a few months ago. That one was $398.

I'm not saying Old is wrong storing a tire for future use. This is my experience. I bought a set of new 14.9/24 rears for my combine 12 years ago. The bead separated on 1 right away so I got a replacement different brand. Anyway I put 1 of the old 1's on and put the new replacement in the back of the shed on cement for future use. Fast forward to this fall finally blew out the oldest rear so grabbed the spare from the back of the shed and thru it on. About 100 acres later it blew the sidewall. I think it rotted from sitting it was the same ply an 8 ply as the other tires.

Can I suggest that you replace both tires and sell the good used one. If you don't, your tractor will pull sideways. I made that mistake.

Many people refuse to shop local. They claim local merchants are a bunch of thieves because they won't sell for the same price as amazon or Ebay. They may have to to spend a dollar or two more. These are the same people to complain about all of the Chinese products coming into this country but have no problem buying them. I guess not buying Chinese goods only applies to the other guy.

On the W Speed Patrol and the storing of tires I have had a set of good used ones to go on it so if and when a tire did go I could put them on as needed. They have been stored for at least 15 years and had to put one on this summer and it so far has had no problems. You may in fact have gotten a new one that was bad from the get go which I have seen often

Sometimes believe or not your force to shop on line because a local business tells you to get your Timkens bearing at the case tractor dealer (150 miles away). Want wait on you. You can get American made parts delivered to your door. Order 10:00 at night and you don't have to fight violent urges. LOL

That might be an option. Do you know how wide your rims are? I'm told they came with different width rims.

I sold a C to the Austin boys at Butler, MO. a couple months back that had a like new looking set on it. 660 679 4080 gm
