May they have a safe and uneventful trip home.
 
Scary as it is, we will wish him a safe adventure in the west. I'm sure you have raised him well, and he will do as you tought him in different situations. Look at the bright side... you will have a reason to visit Alberta now!

All kidding aside, safe travels to him.
 
Thank you,yes we certainly do have a reason to visit the west! He'll be fine,he's excited about the skiing on some days off. I never got the chance to try different things in life before working full time on the farm. I'm glad that he's getting the chance to see different parts of the country and make his own way in the world wherever that may be.
 
Hopefully, he packed some warm clothes, things are pretty cold here in central Alberta. We were NE of here over Christmas and it was -34 C (-26F) on Christmas morning. Good luck with everything, Alberta's about as good a place to live as any I suspect and although the job market isn't what it was a few years back, there are still jobs for youngsters that don't mind getting their hands dirty.
