if I remember right, you're gonna have to replace almost everything from the flywheel back to add PTO, many things to add to have 3 pt hitch too, including buying a complete lift top and arm assy's.

I know it's not what you want to hear, but it would be cheaper and easier to either get another tractor to use or to swap out the back half
 
Joe is right: easier to change out the back half of the tractor.
The back half from any 3 cylinder 2000, 3000, 2600, 3600 would be a direct swap if you get the pump and lines. Also, if you go that route, make sure you get the clutch and flywheel that came with the tranny. Ford was goofy about having a bunch of different clutch/flywheel setups.
