anybody ever pull two 40' trailers before, early 80's worked for UPS driving my own truck ohio turnpike, would pick-up and drop trailers at every exit of the turnpike, pulling two at a time. make your way across the state and back, only for the christmas rush, 4or5 times a season you pulled triples

I've pulled two 28' pups many a mile. Nothing more exciting when the wind is gusting around 30 to 40 mph. Talk about the back trailer whipping!! This is in Central KS where the wind blows! LOL! Bob

Pulled header trailers behind combines for many miles on harvet for 3 of those years. All on pintle hitches at the time. hooked to tandem grain truck.
It's not windy till you get to WY. A calm day there in the winter is 40 mph wind. Windy is 60 plus.

Never had to pull doubles or triples. Our company had a lot of 13'6" -53 footers and a empty trailer in a 45 MPH side wind you would see air between tire and pavement.
