Finished corn harvest today. It made about 170/180 bpa. Probably the best corn crop I ever raised! The old 95 performed flawlessly, without even a 'hiccup'.Do I need so say that I am happy?? LOL

SJ just last week there are still plenty of standing fields. Corn and beans. This is sand soil and there are no mud problems. Also the weather has been reasonable. My only guess is that there is just no space anywhere because we don't have any grain mills in the area anymore. You do see some farms with some pretty darn big bins but that is my guess. The very last mill was up in Bordentown and was owned by Agway. Closed like 10 years ago. I just hate seeing our agrarian way of life fade away.

We finished beans Monday mudded them out all fall or so it seems. Still go 80 acres of corn to go before we are done. Should go fast if we can haul it away fast enough. That is if it freezes and stays that way for a bit.

Hi Everyone, this is my first time on the forum and my Uncle and I are in together on a farm. We currently own a JI Case 1030 Comfort King which is about 102 PTO Horsepower. I had a Tillage question. Would this tractor handle a 7 Shank Krause Disc Chisel in clay as deep as it goes. We currently run a 7 Shank Chisel without discs, but we didn?t know if the discs would be a problem. Thanks.

IHKid welcome to the forum. There's lots of experts here who can help you with about anything. You might get more answers if you scroll on down to the Case and David brown forum. There's guys there who know Cases like the backs of their hands.
