Trav-a-long trailers

There is a 2011 24 foot aluminum gooseneck Trav-a-long stock trailer coming up at an auction. I'm familiar with the name but have no personal experience with them. I'm looking for opinions on them. I want to upgrade from my 16 foot bumper hitch. My experience looking at used trailers is if they look decent they sell for new price. I would like to be prepared just in case it sells reasonable. It's not to far away and is supposed to be in excellent condition.

Trav-a-longs are made in the same plant or maybe across the street from Titan. I think maybe Titan actually bought them a few years ago. Trailman was also made in the same area.
For me, a Travalong is a way better trailer then Titan, but I have no experience with their aluminium trailers. I know I don't like any of the Titans other then the Classic model.

Every time I see a aluminum livestock trailer, in decent shape, at an auction it sells for about the same as a new one. I brought a new steel Corn Pro a few years ago but unless your a old guy like me I would spend the extra money for a aluminum one no matter what the brand.

My gooseneck, deck-over flatbed trailer is a Trav-A-Long. Bought it in 2001. It is holding up very well.
