Both of you guys asked about putting a loader on those Oliver 1555 Loader Specials without hydraulics. This is the one that I was talking about on Machinery Pete's site with the Farmhand loader. I bought one of those loaders a year ago. It had a PTO pump. The tractor and loader in the picture brought $29,500. I know where there's one of those loaders for sale at an old Oliver dealer. It came off a 1655 so it would bolt right up on the 1555 that's on CL for $2800. I don't know what Bruce wants for that loader,but if it's be worth $30,000 when the two were married up,it would leave you a lot of room on the price of the loader. lol

That loader is JUNK. I have an extremely straight F11. Don't have the grapple but you can buy them for around $300. I paid well under $1000 for mine with a pump and valves. Its on a Case 800, and I might sell it for $30,000.
I don't know where those kind of prices come from, but Machinery Petes site and Tractor House are both WHACKED on their prices!!
 
I won't say what I gave for one of those loaders. I bought it from a member of this forum. He was gonna let the kids take it to the scrapper if I didn't want it. It had a heck of a nice bucket on it,so I just bought it for that.
 
I bought 1 a few years ago, think it was in the very northwest corner of Iowa. Paid $150, sold it a month later for $1500. Haven't been able to do that kind of deal in a few years.
 
The rest of mine's still sitting here. The pump laid in the dirt and was set up and one of the bucket cylinders was broke. I took all the hydraulics off and put them inside. I needed some new pipes that the pins go through where the bucket pins go in on my DuAl loader,so I cut them out of the Farmhand. I'm glad I bought that one. I'll probably never use up all the parts off it,but I always need welding stock.
