I put the front mount snow blower on the AC 7040 two weeks ago, so I'm ready. Won't bother me if it sits unused all winter, but I'm ready to play in the nice warm cab to clear my elderly parents lane if needed..

Snow tires went on our van on Friday (twisted the end off one of the tpms units on a tire trying to take the cap off to check the pressure) and I put them on my car a few weeks ago. Kids toys are packed into the basement for the season, and I cleaned out the garage today so the van can fit again.

Also tilled the garden today, then let the tiller, lawn mower, and string trimmer run out of gas.

I still need to bring my tractor home (about an hour drive from the farm) and mount the snow blade in place of the bucket that I made up mounts for this year. I have over 6 tons of wood pellets in the shed for winter, and half a tank of fuel oil, so my winter heat is bought and paid for already. More or less ready, only a few more things to wrap up.

Thank you, that was our main work tractor for about 10 years. It was 10 yrs old when we got it and has been a great asset. She gets manure spreader and grain drill duty in the spring runs the hay mower in the summer helps haul straw in the fall than is in the generator for backup in the winters. Dad loved that tractor and we spent a good bit of time working together with it. Long as I'm here that tractor will be too.
