I'm just helping out [email protected], he's having a little trouble figuring out how to post, so I figured I'd help him out, make it easier for all of us. Anyway, he would like any information any of you can pass along about a Love orchard tractor. I guess if there was something more specific he's looking for, he'll add it here, maybe?
Thanks

Ross

I do not know very much, but I think those were built in Michigan, using Chrysler components. Flat head 6, 4 speed truck trans, and a truck rear axle.

A guy's gotta be careful, when reading your post I saw "Looking for Love" ..... now THAT would be an off topic post !!!

Must be he's having trouble navigating the site. I've provided 2 or 3 links to this post I made for him, but he must not have found it yet.

I've seen them at the shows Ross, but I have never owned one.
So, I'm no help unless some of my old Chrysler/Dodge parts will fit.
I probably have a dozen carbs around here for the old Mopars.

Does this put me in the "all the wrong places" category? LOL

I have a early LOVE with a Ford B 4 cylinder engine, years ago I also had a Friday tractor with the Ford 4 cylinder. The later tractors had the Mopar 6 culinder flatheads.

There used to be somebody on here that had one. I talked to him at a show one time. Don't remember who it was and don't know if he's still here.

Hi-- I am the guy looking for information on Love tractors. I just got a restored early to mid 40's Love orchard tractor. It has a flat 6 ford with a holley carb and was told by the lady owner that the drive train is all ford. The engine will not idle without choke pulled out a little and probably has trash inside. Would like carb info. Both master cylinders leak and have to be pumped and still are ruff. Looking for info on kits or whole master cylinder. Are there any spec's around. How do I determine what model ford drive train I have? I guess if I had info on drive train I could find most everything. It is a beautiful tractor. I live in a residential neighborhood. When I open my garage door the Love is on the left and my 1930 model a huckster vegetable delivery truck is on right quite a sight; Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Butch

Welcome to the forum Butch.
I don't know anything about your master cylinders if they are specific to that tractor.
I could help you with the carb though.
Does it require choke all the time or only at idle?
My email is open. If you prefer, email me and I'll send you my phone number.
I think Ross has it too. He can give it to you if that's easier.
