At my last Doctors appointment I asked for a referral to Physical Therapy. He said to check of Yoga with Adrienne. I did. I do not know how often to do yoga or for how long, but some days I feel so much better. I actually was able to run Yesterday and it was faster than I had been able to run in a long time.
I have two vertebrae that are misaligned and the result is a pinched nerve.
Your mileage may vary.

I have used yoga before it works. Some stuff is very hard but just keep it up and you get better at it.

Physical therapy is good, too- my wife has muscular/ skeletal problems- lots of chiropractor and massage appointments didn't seem to help, but physical therapist fixed her right up.

It's good when you add fruits and granola to it. Yoplait is a pretty good product. But, being lactose intolerant I don't yoga very often.

Just develop some knee problems and your back will get better . Must be I am favoring my knees so much that my back isn't getting tested .

My wife introduced me to "Yoga with Adrienne" and that's a great free internet resource. I like that she has sessions for the TRUE beginner. You can do the same class over and over then when it gets easy move to the next class, your back will thank you if you stick with it.
