OT: Adding LED Light Bar to ATV

Boss has a 2005 Kawasaki Mule, 3010 Trans 4x4, gas.

He wants to add an LED light bar to the front, and a smaller one to the rear as a cargo/rear area light.

The front, he wants mounted up high on the roll cage. Same on the back, high on the back, the roll cage or the guard screen.

Anyone ever done this? Locations good or bad?

Also what is the capacity of the charging system? Probably wouldn't be using the front and rear at the same time. It has small halogen head lights, don't know the wattage, but they would be on a separate switch, probably would not need headlights and LED at the same time.

I see several of the light bars and individual lights on Ebay. All China made, any personal experience with any brand?

Any comments or suggestions?

Thanks!

I put a 52 inch light bar on top of my Polaris 700 Ranger, it has a fiberglass roof. works great. It's been on there about a year and no issues with the battery. The only thing I have to worry about is low hanging branches. Hope this helps.

Make sure you get one with CREE leds and not COB. The CREE work so much better. They really don't use that much power so don't worry.

I have thought about adding one of those bright led work lights just under the canopy on our 4600, but I really don't use it at night anyhow, but the lights in the grille aren't to effective for doing loader work.

Look at"Superbrightleds.com". Quality products and life-time warranty. I've bought several hazard lights and driving lights from them and have been happy.
