Any two steppers here?

Never did learn to dance. Always wanted to. Folks kept telling me to just move to the music. When I tried, they told me to STOP! *lol*

Ultradog, I'm not a 2 stepper. Back in 2012 my Mother in law asked if we wanted to see Josh Turner. He was playing at Belleayre Mt. and we sat directly in front of him. It was a great show! I do sing along with him in the truck though.lol

My wife was a great dancer (actually professional) and we went dancing as often as we could. Two step, waltz, polka, and a little R&R. I sure miss that.

The two step, the Waltz and the Polka among many others.
I'm a big fan of the stationary/Cowboy Cha-Cha. Especially to Neon Moon.
Unfortunately, [b:ab1fc7dc9f]this[/b:ab1fc7dc9f] is the best video I could find of it quickly.
Haven't been out to dance in years tho.
Used to go 4 nights a week. Sometimes more.

Not a dancer, but LOVE that song!

Back when I was out there in the world, doing everything wrong, thinking I was cooler than h3ll, that song would occasionally come on the radio station I listened to.

It spoke to me. A message I desperately needed to hear!

God works in mysterious ways! Who'd have ever thunk it! LOL

I had the chance to learn to dance from people that grew up in the 30's, 40's and 50's and really knew how. It just wasn't cool at the time I was growing up. I'll add that to the long list of mistakes I've made in my life.

The wife and I dance whenever we get the chance. Was at the South West Polka Fest in Las Vegas last year. 3 days of dancing on 2 different dance floors with at least 4 different bands. Sure would like to learn how to dutch hop. There is a game warden from Colorado that does it in fine style. Most time we have to travel some distance to dance but we sure enjoy doing. Used to dance at the Eagles in Kalispell 3 weekends a month when we lived there. Not as many places to dance any more.

Used to dance a lot, but now not so many places to go. Wife and I dance in the kitchen sometimes. Bad thing about it is, I never was so good at dancing because even though I went to 99% of the local dances, I didn't get to dance much. I was too busy sawin' on a dang fiddle! They used to come get me a lot to play at the schoolhouse dances and fall parties and whatever else. Me and my cousin (he was a banjo picker) played together mostly, with another guitar picker sometimes. Cousin lost most of his left hand in the log woods so he doesn't play anymore, and uncle Arthur has come to both my hands so I can't play for very long either.

I will say that I certainly do like that song very much, and it has a good message if a person wants to listen to it.
