175 JD loader--706 Farmall

You should be OK. I would not want much more power than the 706 under it. Which is to mean I would not go bucking boulders in the gravel pit hour after hour with it.

I don't know.......that loader is designed for 40 to 70 hp 2000 series JD tractors..You will be pushing it's limits. Ben

As centash stated JD 175 loader was built for utility tractor up to about 60 HP which are built closer to the ground. I think if your tractors is rowcrop model it will be too tall for a good bucket to ground relationship

An old ad shows one attached to a 2550 MFWD. The 2550 is 65 HP and the MFWD will increase the effectiveness to put it on par with a 75 HP 2WD which is what the 706 is close to.

Some of those 50 and 55 series tractors did not sit too close as some were offered with 15.5 X 38 tires and the MFWD had them sit pretty level. If the loader is sitting on a stand it would certainly be prudent to get busy with the tape measure to account for all contingencies including subframe.

The 1992 dealer price book shows up to and including the 2755 which is 75 HP. Mount kits do not distinguish between 2WD or 4WD. 13.6 X 24 fronts and 15.5 X 38 rears are in the order code for the 2555 and 2755. Lift for the 175 is 1929 lbs versus 2535 lbs for the 245. List price for the 175 was 3805.00 dollars.

Sure it will fit a 2755. I have a 520 which is similar to a 175 on a 2120.....60 hp. I also have a 620 on my 2755. Pretty sure I could bend the 520 if it is on the 2755 much easier than the one on it now. Point is, they are a lighter loader, and when mounted on a 75 hp tractor, they must be used accordingly. Ben

I'll bet you the side frames on a JD utility tractor with 15.5X38 rear tires isn't as high off the ground as a rowcrop IHC 706 plus centash makes a good point about the lower frame strength of a 175 loader. Not to mention the 706 has a 6 cylinder engine vs 4 on a JD 2750/2755 which will dictate the need for loader to be moved further forward on IHC.
