mc track pad

Hello, I am helping with the restoration of a mc crawler and it is
missing one track pad, it is a 14'' stamped steel style, we have
checked with all of our known sources but have been unable to
locate one, any suggestions would be welcome

Post a pic of it, I have been known to
fabricate things hard to find.

I would check with Lavoy who posts here sometimes and runs the jdcrawlers dot com forum. He parts out a lot of JDs and might have what you need, or know who does have it.

Have you actually looked up the number and tried John Deere? It's been a few years,but when I needed a couple I was just told,not available.Then I thought about it and a few days later just asked the dealer to check a part number for me.A week later I had the pads.I actually had to cut off part of the kickup,or grouser,so they would match the pads I had.They're really just an extra heavy piece of pressed tin so I see no reason they couldn't be made with a good vise and a torch.
