The new Kubota

They are coming to get my new tractor in the morning to fix ----NOW GUYS DON'T LAUGH--the cigarette lighter. No I don't smoke but my oxygen concentrator has to plug into it or I'll be out of oxygen in about 4 hours. I called the dealer after checking fuses to see if they would email me the wiring diagram & they called me right back and asked if it would be OK if they picked it up in the morning to fix it. I asked how much and her answer was no charge, we'll make sure it works for you, that's why you bought it and we want you to be able to use it. Now I haven't dealt with very many dealerships and this is the first time I have ever dealt with these folks at Parcs in Ripley, West Virginia, but I was sure surprised when she told me that. I believe they want people's business and that is the sure way to get it. I'm impressed.

Nice to hear a good dealer story for a change ! I have an older Kubota b8200 with a mid mount mower I use for cutting my grass. Years ago I never thought I would own a "foreign " tractor. I love mine. It has been a very good tractor and I hear the new ones are good too !

Yes I could do that and I have on some of my other tractors but this my first and will be my only new tractor and I'm just not ready to start cutting & piecing things. That's why I bought a new tractor with a cab that has heat and air. I'd kinda like to keep it in as new condition as I can.

Thanks for not cutting up the wiring. That is one thing that drives a dealer crazy ,getting one in that someone has messed with the wiring. I do not blame you and I am sure they will get it going. I have no idea what that pump draws but may end up having to put a heaver plug but sounds like your dealer is stepping up. As always thanks for choosing KUBOTA>

It works fine off the car & trucks lighters. I really think it's from where they installed the 2nd set of remotes.

Is your oxygen concentrator a portable unit? I have a ingen one 3 and use it all the time and in my car. Plug it into the power port and it charges up. On my JDeere, I have a medium oxygen tank and use it.

I have 4 Kubotas, and my dealer has been good to me.

Thursday, they are stopping by to change out the seat belt anchors (recall) and swap the radio for the one that I ordered (out of stock upon delivery) in my RTV-X1100C.

Kubota does not pay for hauling even for warranty work so your dealer is going above and beyond.

I've always negotiated free hauling during the warranty period. It's been easy to do with my dealer that is less than 5 miles away.

That is great to hear that your dealer is looking out for you. The dealer that I buy from is always very helpful , and is quick to respond to any issues or questions that I have. I believe the Kubota dealers are working hard to keep your business , and earn the business of others by treating customers the way they expect to be treated.

Local dealer is to busy to get to warranty work they have more going on there than tractors its a rent all that does there own repairs. I dealt with it on my warranty work cuzz I do all there AC work and I sure nuff like doing AC work on those simple systems.

The big plus I get to play with skid steers and track loaders... Not to mention they pay what I write in the total box on a ticket...

The guys that spend 1/2 to a mill at a dealer get front row treatment I get it hope Y'all do...

I understand you need a power supply that's dependable in your case it would get it if I had to build it myself. I can see were its not robust on a tractor nor a common request. I sure hope they have someone that understands that...

Yeah it sounds silly but when I was making 1.75 an hour as the delivery boy and the mechanics were making 6.00 it was cheaper to send me to get it than to pay a mechanic road time. I guess the numbers still break down the same. Not to mention the mechanics never seemed to make it back until 10 minuets before closing.LOL

Kubota Dealers have always told me they don't cover transportation cost for warrantee work. Sounds like your dealer is going beyond for you. I have always hauled my own in to them. But after thinking about it that was two times. The first time they called after I just got home from taking it in to cone get it. The second time it took one day and that was because they ordered a part which came in the next day. I have owned five of them, brought 3 of them new, and currently have three of them. I have been basically happy with them. I can think of about 7 dealerships with in fifty miles from where I live.

I?m trying to get input on a portable concentrator which do I need pulse or continuous, I have a Invacare platinum. Trying to get best battery life and best for my situation? I will have to buy it and need some good information. That has experience with them.I know it is O T but I will be using it on an open station tractor.I?m sure several of you guys have used them. I?m on one 24x7 but the one I have keeps me close to the house. Early thanks for any info.

Mine is a Phillips Respironics and it has 3 settings Demand, continuous, and night time on it. When I have to use it on battery, I leave it on demand. On it if I haven't breathed thru my nose in 10 minutes an alarm starts going off. It will last about 4 hours on the on demand and about 2 hours on full flow. Hope this helps.
