OT - Gooseneck Trailer storage

I have a large gooseneck trailer (about 35 ft length total) and am currently storing it in unattached garage next to my house... I want to turn this unattached, unfinished garage into my work shop (insulate, heat, etc.) so I need to relocate this trailer. I was thinking about having a large carport type building built (20x60), no sides just a roof so I could store this trailer out of the elements and not have a lot of money into it as I don't really need another full garage... I would appreciate any thoughts or advice on this as to its feasibility. I live in the northeast and do get a lot of snow.

Also opinions on a partial concrete wall around the perimeter, maybe 3 ft tall to help keep debris, snow out...

Thanks

I don't know if this will help you,, but, if that 5th wheeler has been shedded since new, and can continue to be, you will realize the same value for what you paid for it unless it has a million miles on it.

Is it a travel trailer that could deteriorate quickly, or is it a flat bed implement trailer? Check used prices in your area, used implement trailer values seem to hold their value very well, between 50+ percent to 90 percent of new replacement cost depending on condition. I could be wrong, but I doubt that it would pay to build a new structure or pay storage fees just to protect an implement trailer. If it is a travel trailer, it would cost considerably less to rent space in someone else's machine shed than to build new, maybe several hundred dollars for six months of storage. What do people pay for combine storage in your area?

In the northeast you should take local property taxes into account too. They could run way over what you will save on deterioration. Between construction and taxes, against the difference in what you will loose in value by storing it outside, It would have to be an extremely expensive custom special use trailer, in oder to come out ahead.
