Path of Hurricane / Tropical storm

Been raining for hours here. Some bands of rain very heavy. Some really good wind gusts too. Kevin in Central AL
 

I'm in W SC. Went to town about 20 miles away to buy some repair parts. When I returned I found that there had been a wind storm. There is an old house place on my property and several big oak trees were blown over and some round hay bales blown into the debris.I don't think I had building damage but may find some later. It was pouring down rain and getting dark so i haven't checked yet. Neighbor behind me had some fences damaged and one heifer calf missing. Don't know yet about a wider area. Power is on.

Wow. Sounds like y'all got it worse than we did. Rain gone ,for now , maybe more tomorrow. Never lost power here. Watching the news earlier it looks like Central AL dodged a big one! You in Clemson country? We are those crazy Clemson fans in Alabama Lol.
 
We've had a good steady rain since 5:30 a.m.

Only thing left in the garden are a few late tomato plants but,,,,now is when my Peppers take off and do the producing. Plants were starting to get wilted down. I only picked a few bushel from them to give away. I checked them earlier today and they are standing tall! This rain was really needed.
 
Grandpa, do you have a connection to Clemson?
Dad, me and my sons went there and I retired from there.

Well ....it's an odd story. When my wife and I got married we couldn't afford cable or satellite TV and living in country we could only get one channel ,well they played Clemson games 3 weeks in a row. My ex was Auburn fan. My wife's ex was Alabama fan so we decided to pull for Clemson. 20 years later still fans. A few years ago a kid from Sylacauga high School went to Clemson , played 3 years ,and is now an Indy Colt. His mom worked at the gas station we stopped at every morning ,and because she worked late night , early am shift her husband hung out there .got to know they real good. Great folks. Oh. TJ Green is the kids name. His last Clemson game was the championship game they lost. Declared for draft right after. Now we try to catch the colts games too. And deshawn Watson at Texans. Lol.
