Rain came in last night and still at it. Just checked gauge almost 1 and 9/10".

it started at 10 this morning here and so far got about a tenth. Not enough to help and to much to combine. Be a good evening to service the machine and take in my girls volleyball game.

I wandered how much you had got, just drove down and got mail and right at 2" now and still raining. Looks like from Terre Haute and in my direction got the most, Shelbyville 8ths. We were starting to get real dry.

It real dry here. MY beans tested 8.8% yesterday! Sounds like a few more chances thru the weekend. May dig out the ear corn picker and pick a few loads if it stays wet. If you get board this weekend head down to the Oktoberfest in Seymour. Went down there for lunch today,sure was good!

I am a little north of Seymour, we got just enough rain to keep us out of the field. I think most of the southern part of the state is dry. Jim in Rushville gets all the rain and then sends it down the river to flood me out. The beans are dry but the plants are green and makes the old combine grunt.
