Where buy flexible PTO Shaft for Cyclone Spreader?

I have a Cyclone seeder that I?m trying to get working. This is the type with one bolt that attaches to the drawbar, with a square tin box and flexible PTO shaft.

The shaft won?t turn. I mean the PTO/cable won?t turn.

I think I?ve figured it out. I think there?s a cable inside the flexible shaft that is supposed to turn. But mine doesn?t turn.

I?ve put PB Blaster on it, letting it sit overnite in a vertical position. If that doesn?t work?

Does anyone know any place that sells a replacement flexible PTO shaft?

I don't know if I have to get one that's just for the Cyclone? Or if there are replacements that fit multiple/similar products?

Thank you very much!

Don't know about replacement parts, but if the cable froze from laying out in the weather, good chance it will free up.

Keep soaking it, and try flexing the housing, bend it in various directions. That will help get the penetrating oil in, and may free it up. If it will free up at all, try to take it apart, get the cable out, then it can be cleaned and greased, should be good as long as nothing is frayed.

On the one I had the entire hose/flexible shaft turned. It was just a heavy hydraulic hose with ends to fit the drives. It did not have and inner and outer part.

I believe that you are correct, JD Seller, as the one that I had also was just a heavy hose that had the ends to fasten to the PTO shaft. I suspect that the problem is that the seeder is seized or the hose shaft is slipping.
