The sewing machine had Sweetfeet's name on it!lol The 1550 brought $4700, row crop 77 was 600 and that was all I remember.

Whoa,, a pipe line dump station. What always got me was when you threw the mouse in. Man that thing was a little rocket!

greg oliver,
I take it you had to write a check for the 77... as $3 wouldn't quite cover the cost. :)

Hee-hee... when looking through the pics, I literally thought, "It'd be fun to have that old treadle sewing machine." Never seen on with actual "feets" on it. LOL!

Sweetfeet, Crazy story 2 guy's bid on it for me and I was standing there. We all laughed about it and the one kept asking me what's it worth? I was just mumbling away they said sold! Guess I'll have to work it off someday.lol

Too funny! I didn't realize you'd bought it too. Thought it was an auction pic.

I suppose you will have to paint it - but I will add that rust - if cleaned off/dried, then sprayed with a couple layers of lacquer... turns a beautiful chocolate brown! :)

Sweetfeet, The tractor is what my neighbor bought for me. I don't think the sewing machine brought much pretty small crowd.

I have helped these guy's out and they appreciate it! They are great guy's too, both have small dairy farms. We are just dinosaurs living in a modern world.lol

Sheeesh... my ol' brain no-workie today. LOL

Glad you got the 77. Those old style Olivers are great looking tractors!

My favorite is a rusty 66 on steel wheels we saw at auction once... then got to see it running at a tractor show the next year. And yay - they did NOT paint it. :)

Sweet, This is the before and as far as I've gotten with my other 77. I just need a few more things excluding paint.lol

Dang, we are looking for some milk cans, but missus says they can't be too rusty or too clean (lol). Looks like you done good and kept your three dollars.

Larry,My neighbor brought it to my house on the roll back and the wife was waving her arms and yelling No No No! I just got it running this morning its been sitting at least 5 years. Others had dragged it around at the farm before the auction well it had the battery hooked backwards sediment bowl plugged up and carburetor needs cleaned. I had an extra carb from my other 77 and it runs. Glad to see you posting and hope you get feeling better. I was glued and meshed back together Tuesday so a bag of ice ain't to far away!
