Now that's art! When somebody just piles old lawn mowers on top of tomato cages or something and tries to pass it off as representing something,it's still just a pile of junk.
 
I am not very refined by some peoples opinions. So much art that I see does not seem ARTISTIC to me. The sculpture of the horse, that is art in so many ways. Creative mind, creative welding and creative reuse of materials. gobble
 
Yeah, but you're forgetting that those masterpieces are expressing the artist's inner self and personality.
 
The piece shown, believe he used a lot of scrap tractor/implement parts. Pretty cool. His moose is great too.
 
There is another guy if I have this correct. Out in CA. He uses chrome
car bumpers as his medium. These look so cool.

Ran across a metal artist on YouTube the other day. She calls herself Barbie the Welder. Does some nice work.
