Tire chain sizes-- what do they fit?

I have a set of tire chains I would like to sell but don't know what size tire they fit or even what size to call the chains. Stretched out on the ground they measure 132 inches long and 24 inches wide. What size do I call this so I know how to advertise them? Thanks for any help.

Where do you look to find that info? I have a few sets laying around that I have no idea what they fit.

I think they may be too big for a 13.6 X 28" wheel considering the total length and the relatively long cross chains.

The ladder style chains for my WD (13.6 X 28) measure 126" long and have 20" long cross chains. There are 15 cross chains but it should have one more to fit better.

The double ring style chains for my WD-45 (14.9 X 28) measure 108" and have 28" long cross links.

It is obvious that he length of the cross chains (width) have a dramatic effect on the total length of the chains because the longer the cross links, the farther they wrap down around the side of the tire.

I have never seen a chart that shows what length and width chains fit particular tires.
I guess such a chart would have to be quite complex.

Unlikely anyone can reliably answer your question with just length and width.
Which style are the chains (H, double ring, road) and how many cross chains total?

You are right....the number of cross chains the style and the size of them all are big factors.
I doubt there is a chart to cover all the possibilities.
