I have purchased a 1947 GTB I believe it's a industrial there is no hydrylics or pto. As near as I can figure out GTB was a gasoline model this tractor runs on lp did not know if it was converted or if there was lp models. The lp tank has a manufacturing date of 1954, didn't now if maybe there was a conversation kit or something like that. Tractor runs fine paint is rough I found it after sitting in the weeds for 12-15 years. Also if anyone would have a idea on value. Thanks for any help advice or knowledge about this model tractor.

The GTB was made from '47-'54......it was offered in gas,lp, & diesel. I don't know offhand
how many of each were made, but the lp models are more common. Really good old tractors, but
unfortunately they don't bring much money. I refurbished a GB some yrs. ago and couldn't get
half my money out of it if I tried. 1500-2000 range for a good running tractor.

GTB available in gas, lp or diesel.
Diesel models were 6cylinder. L.P. very
common in plains states and south.

My dad had a 1949 GTB. Some of the older larger tractors didnt have pto as they
were used mostly for tillage. MM didnt have the Uni-matic hydraulic systems
until 1949. Do you have the serial number off of the transmission? I think the
later GT models were GTC if they were LP but still the same tractor as the GTB.
