Usually when things come unhooked from the tractor it is caused by the nut behind the steering wheel. Just saying this because of my experiences.

Thats why we make most of our own pins from old tie rods or axle shafts. Also most of the pins used to be to small. We use 1 inch pins in most everything smaller than a 4 row planter and they get bigger from there. Chisel plow has about a 1-1/2 inch pin as well as mulch finisher and field cultivator or as big as we can get in the drawbar. for wagons it is as big as we can get in either the tongue or the drawbar. Most are an inch or bigger again.
