i am working on a jd 4100 compact that is over chargin. started out originally not charging so replaced the alternator and regulator and was fine for about a week then after a couple hours of mowing the tractor was shut off and would not restart just clicked found the battery was shot only showing 4 volts so replaced the battery. that is when it started over charging. 15.4 volts wide open 13.8 at and idle. replaced voltage regulator again still over charging found the a1 control module was burned in a couple spots so replaced that also. glow plugs are working as they should. thought maybe the fuel shut off solenoid maybe drawing causing it to keep charging but i have my doubts about that. ive run out of directions to go so any thoughts or help would be appreciated thanks
