I wish I had a camera...., Larry-the corner, I have always read/followed your posts about your Tater patch in Pa.

I really liked to see how you posted the growth of the 'Community 'tater patch'.

Your "seed tater" cutter and 'tater digger got me wondering if I could get anywhere close to what "youse" guys were doin'?

Now, through your pictures and suggestions, I am sitting among around 1100 pounds of Red Pontiac and White Kennebec taters.

Now I have them separated and 'graded' and boxed, all the way from "New Potatoes"(small) to "Bakers"(Large). I'll take them to food pantries around my area.

Thanks again for the incentive Larry on the corner!

You rest and heal.

You just made my day,,was feeling kinda worthless! Thanks so much,,and it is sure nice of you to donate the taters to good homes,,it will feel good too!!!!

(quoted from post at 17:05:29 08/28/17) Are you that cutesie or can't you spell potato. Rather disgusting for a grown man to talk that way.
I don't see anyone wrong with his post and it's very nice to grow something to help others. Well done!

accumulator. Get a life!!! In case you hadn't noticed your handle ends with letters similar to tator and mator. You need to get out of the city.

Around here and a lot of other places in this country people call them taters and call tomatoes maters, so I guess if you don't like how we talk or spell on here there really isn't a door but you can always leave and you won't have to critique our spelling or grammar. After all we are just old ordinary country folks and pretty darned proud of that fact.

Love it. A website for antique tractors, embedded with antique tractor owners, getting critiqued for spelling. Larry keep it up.

Smartest man I ever knew was my dad. Graduated 6th grade. Could look at a tree and tell you how many useable board feet were in it. Could fix a cotton picker with bailing wire.

When I was at college and wanted to quit, he wrote me a letter, 2 pages back and front. No punctuation, lots of spelling problems. Told me decision was mine, never tried to force me. Told me what life was like as a farmer in Mississippi, told me what I could look forward to if I stayed and graduated. I took his advice and never regret it.

Only problem now retired is trying to do what he did on the place.

Only in America.
