Checkerboard Decal Oliver 1800

Are the Oliver 1800 tractors with the checkerboard background decal worth more than those with the solid white/black background? I know it would depend on condition, so lets just say all else being equal.

It would be to me I guess. I'd like to have one to restore just because there weren't as many of them around. They were what's known as the A series. The B and C series had the spear with a decal. I'm guessing it just depends on the buyer.

Randy where the checker board ones only made for the first year or so??? I never really paid attention to them being different until I saw two side by side at the Rantoul show. So what is really different other than the dash/hood shape.

The A series was built from 60-62. The B series came out after White Motors bought Cockshutt. The spear name plate on the side of the hood came from the Cockshutts. The B series had a slightly larger bore. The diesels had a longer stroke and the horsepower of both the gas and diesel increased by about 10%. On the C series the throttle was moved to the side of the hood and the steering became totally hydrostatic.
