Had a great uncle did that, married a gal that was an only child and had a farm give to her. He farmed it but under her control of everything, he mentioned to never do that he was always miserable.

had a young fella come over to meet her girlfriends father. daughter and him were nervous, do not know why I'm a pretty nice guy.
I'm setting on the sofa and i said to him come on over here and set on the recliner, where upon i laid down on the sofa and promptly fell asleep.
my wife tells me the fella set in that chair and did not move for several hours.

I was a little nervous when meeting future in-laws. Several months later they hired me to pitch the manure out of a lean to full length of barn . It was like two feet deep from all winter shelter. Must have passed the test as their daughter and I have 62 years in now.

thats what ol Red told Patrick Swayze in Road House ... Dont Never marry a woman like that ,justmakes a fella miserable . lol .i have to agree ,i like a good lookin gal .. AND , i realize Beauty is only skin deep ,. and a good meal is what we need ,. and a fella just as well live in the attic or roof top than to fight and live with a contempuous woman ..had that happen to me after 20 yrs of bliss in 1995,. she was a beauty too ,. just went nutz .. alas ,such is life

lotta truth to that statement ,but not the rule.... i chased money between marriages,i found, ya just cant beat the wholesome honesty of a gal that earned every dime she has ./// gotta tell ya , if it puts on airs, dont waste your time ,. they mite just be 500 dollar millionaires on parade .. uuugh,.disgustin to me.
