Hello, trying to help grandpa determine values on some older tractors a collector is interested in. Any resources for more up to date listings? Most of the information I'm finding is rather old, mainly curious on a Versatile D100 and WD-9 in good shape but not running and a running gas Wheatland Special 350. Thanks!

You can scroll through the ads on this site, craigslist & ebay to get an idea of what people are asking for those tractors or similar ones. I personally don't know much about those three other than I have seen WD-9's listed from time to time.

If you could figure out a way to post some pictures I'm sure others could give you some better ideas. Since this is your first post though, I'm not sure how you will go about posting pictures since I believe they require a minimum amount of posts before allowing you to post pics.

In addition to Meangreen's excellent suggestion, you could consult with the the leaders of your local antique tractor club. It's likely they'll have excellent insights about the condition of the tractors and their value. In fact, they may refer you to other potential buyers as well.

Thanks for that guys, I'll have to see if there's any clubs in the area and go from there. The D100 was rebuilt before it was parked but that was 48 years ago, only has 600 hours.

Try posting this question on the IH forum on this site, to ask what prices they have bought and sold those tractors for. Also search the archives of the IH forum. I suspect the WD-9 is worth the most as parts for those are hard to find. You may have to advertise nationwide to attract buyers interested in the Versatile. Good luck.

I keep seeing that there is a lot of collector interest in the early "big" tractors. I bet that the Versatile as described could go over $8,000 if the right guy sees it advertised.

Western Canada for location, thanks for the information guys I'll try the specific forums as well. Searching hasn't yielded as much but I'll try to dig deeper
