Anyone ever attend a Dewitt Auction in Sikeston? Just wondering about attendance at their monthly auctions and if tractors, hay tools, planting equipment bring pretty good average prices. Thanks.

Been there for 30 years and yes they have any and ever thing. Absolute den of thieves but you know that on the front when you go in. Dealers take things they do not want to retail because say it si hard starting or runs hot after it warms up but the you just have to remember they say on the start everything sold AS IS.. Lost of stuff and prices vary by who is buying or who is selling. Idabell Oklahoma is a better auction.. Brinkleys

I had a neighbor who hauled a 1130 down there because the rear bull gears had gone out, and he was too cheap to let us tear it apart and flush all of the metal out of it. It would run a week and all of the hydraulics would quit,change the filter and it would go again. One time we took four pounds of shavings out of the screen in the sump. The tractor wound up on a dealers lot twenty miles from home. He brought home a good 1155 from there.
