lawn mower kill switch

I posted yesterday about dead mower, got replies from Old and Bob whitch helped a lot. Saftey switches were long bypassed, so simple solution was kill switch. Hope for a pic.

Yep many lawn mowers now days have way to many safety switches so if something happens to the wiring like say a nice little mouse ti can be fun getting one to work again. Been working on a JD LA145 with safety switch issues

To prevent a hot air cooled from diesling I don't use kill switch. I turn key off, remove power to catb. Solenoid shuts off and a few seconds engine run out of gas, no diesling.

Yup! I'm struggling with a friend's relatively new Craftsman 26 HP rider that intermittantly cuts out for no apparent reason. There's more @#$%^ interlocks and safety switches than you can imagine.

Compare to my early 60's Bolens hand-started rider. The only "wiring" consists of a lone wire between the mag and a pushbutton to kill the engine when you are finished. Never gives a lick of trouble(!)

Check the switch under seat. My Craftsman did that and I put a jumper wire around it and it works fine.

Knock wood, my 2003 Husqvarna CZ4817 has all the OEM switches still working! My daughter uses it a few times a year and I make sure it's 100% like it should be!!
