(quoted from post at 10:07:59 08/15/17) For what size tire are you wanting? I have 16" wheels

Probably need larger for rear. Preferably those with small cleats or no tire so rubber can be added. If that makes sense.

Thanks

You mean a Doodle bug? Original "A" rims were 500 19 inch if I
remember correctly. You can put model B or v-8 wheels and they bolt
right up but are a more modern size. Like 600 16 inch size. Would
make it a,more hotrod looking deal.

Are you talking model A truck converted into a Doodle bug? If it's a one ton, or AA, those wire wheels are hard to come by. A lot of the wire wheels were replaced with steel centered rims because the wire spokes supposedly bent when the truck went around a corner under a load. If I remember right they are 20"? If this is the case, I think I have one for an AA but not a pair. My email is open if you want to contact me. I live in Iowa.

Depending on the year Model A's came with two tire sizes.

1928/29 21"
1930/31 19"

Thank you for responding. I am trying to wrap arms around it. Need or prefer the tractor rims that are somewhat larger and no tires on the steel rims.

Thanks for reply. Not sure if you can attach a pic so I can show you what I'm referring to. Need two for rear and I was thinking of how difficult to convert. Currently I think the rear is 5 lug and 5 1/2 pattern. Has a worm rear end which I hear is from a truck. yes, shortened a bit to be used as a tractor back many years. Been in barn for say 40 or so.

I think I am needing say 24 to 30 inch wheels....rims and spokes even with cleats if I can find them.

Thanks
