9N carb rebuild

Installed rebuild kit on 9N carburetor. Now governor rod pushes toward carburetor, but throttle wants to be pulled away from carb to accelerate. What did I do wrong when installing carburetor kit?

Either (if there was a throttle shaft in the kit) the throttle shaft is wrong or you have attached the butterfly to the shaft with the shaft in the wrong position relative to the carb body.

Yup. It sounds like the pivot actuator arm which is attached to the governor rod is wrong, meaning the throttle plate is attached to the throttle shaft incorrect. Remove the screws from the plate, and move the shaft 180deg, then reattach the plate to the shaft, and attach the governor rod again.
