Good Tractor/Farm show the weekend of August 24 to 27 at Rantoul, IL north of 1-57 and I-74 if yer coming thru. Half Century of Progress - Might be the last one.
Planning going on Friday 8/25 and could pick you up somewhere.

JD, I talked to a man that is belongs to the I &I tractor club that sponsors the Half Century show. I asked him about that rumor, he said unless there's a problem with the lease on the airport he didn't know about, he had no idea where the rumor came from and as far as he knew was completely false
 
My daughter is getting married in Sept. I told here before she picked a date that she could not pick the Half Century Show dates. I only go to about one show a year and the Half Century is one I will not miss.LOL Tom
 
Yep! Hard to picture them as adults still even tho the older ones are sneeking up on 40 years old now.
 
Same here, been hearing that rumor for the last 3 shows but far as I can tell there is not truth to it.
 
Kruser, you say it might be the last show?? That is talked about every twu years. Rantoul says it but they make big bucks off of this show and do help a lot. The EPA, military, and aviation have caused rumors to float around. This show makes money but it costs a lot to put on. There is a great bunch that brings all of this to what its is and I think they do a fantastic job.

I will be at the JD tent most of the time. See you all and thanks for coming.
 
Jon I got them all shipped out. LOL Well at least so far. Anymore it sometimes takes several tries to get the wedding to bare fruit. LOL.
