Just finished up. Hand picked 225+ dozen ears of Bodacious sweet corn. My son, his 8 year old daughter and me.

Sorry, no pics. Camera broke.

Our Bodacious here in northern Michigan has got a least another week to go before we can start picking (if it ever stops raining).

we just finished the last of ours. this is seminis obsession 2 , a peaches and cream round up ready on the headlands.

Glennster: I have been growing about 75 acres of sweetcorn for a lot of years and wondering why you are not getting cross pollination when planting two varieties that close together?

Last year we had corn out the you know where, this year bye far is the worst Sweet corn
I've ever had. Short, or just didn't grow, cold wet weather.. The 12 rows 100 yards long
at my house is the best we've got & I'm embarrassed by it & can be seen from the road.
It was the only patch worth cultivating & then when the rest of the ear corn field was
sprayed it carried over to the sweet corn.. I will be lucky to have 5 bushels when it is
ready.. We normally plant Incredible it has done well in N/W Pa.

Just got into ours this week. Our Phenomenal looks good in spite of poor growing conditions. But lacking in flavor. Maybe a couple days more maturity.... Longer growing season corn about a week or two behind.

BarnyardEngineering- Left at 6 am. Returned home at 7:30
pm EDT. Sold out of the sweet corn.
