Depends on transmission i guess. I have a 2294 with 4 ranges and a 3 speed powershift, you can put powershift in reverse in the first
3 ranges. You do not need clutch to shift between gears within each range except reverse.

Put the right hand lever in first and bring the small automatic lever on the left, fully to the rear and let out on the clutch.

As the other two have said if you have a power shift trans the lever the man operates in this video is the power shift speed lever. When you push the clutch in if you have the power shift in speed 2
or 3 it will return to speed 1. Pulling that lever back from speed 1 moves you into reverse. Of course the range lever to the right has to be in 1, 2 or 3 for the tractor to back up. Now if you have a straight gear trans it should be like the upper pattern shown in the archive 970 thread. "Thanks Case nutty!! I will say this, I'm a little concerned the you are operating a 130 hp tractor with minimal knowledge of it's basic operation instructions. I will warn you a Case power shift trans can be quite jumpy especially in reverse. If you have someone helping you hook up to an implement you are backing up to, make sure they stand clear unless you have the clutch fully depressed and brakes firmly applied. Good luck and be careful!! And welcome to YT!
