pump needed

posting for a friend, but there looking for a used hydraulic pump for a early 80's new holland stack wagon, salvage yards around here are non esistant, anybody have a source?

Are those not just a commercial pump? Possibly of the vane type? If I could find out it's displacement and speed, thus it's output rating I'd probably elect to just buy a new, off the shelf type of pump... Used pumps, and indeed anything used in the hydraulics department... I have always found at best sketchy and at worst a disaster..

I have a 1010 that boke the pump shaft right at the gear. It was a saeAA pump about two sizes up from what I could find. I eventually went to a saeA pump (from surplus Center) to get the output needed. I then cut the mount off on the one side and placed it where needed for the larger pump. Works better than the old pump ever did.

Why can't you just use your tractor hyd.
