Supposed to be hot

The wife and I are going to a NTPA grand national event over to Mt Sterling this evening, so as is normal for me,I check the weather to make sure we ain't gonna get wet. The weather over there this AM is sunny & 55 with a wind chill of 52. A wind chill in August in central Illinois? Seasonal forecasts have been calling for above normal temperatures. I just hope August doesn't come back with a vengeance. Gonna love it while I can. DP

Couple of weeks ago the thermometer on the front (covered) porch, about half tree coverage, read 100 at about 5 pm. For the last few days it's been 80 and the humidity has been low enough to make you feel good. Can't believe this is August...............But wait!!!!!!! What about global warming???????????????
