Spot sprayer that continues to dribble

I have a 15 gal spot sprayer that I use on the back of a 4 wheeler. I bought it at Harbor freight maybe 6 or 7 years ago. My problem is the last time I used it when I would let off the handle on the wand it would continue to dribble and not shut all the way off. The pump would make a burp burp burp sound while it would be doing this. Wouldn?t have been a big deal had I not decided to cross the lawn with it. Now you can trace everywhere I went with it. Lol. Is there anything I can service in the wand to fix this or would I be better off to just replace it.

There are probably some orings in the valve, if you can get it apart.

Could be just trash in it, corroded spring, might get lucky and get it working.

Ours that we bought from Big Bear 20 years ago is doing the same thing, the handle sticks in the on position. We probably need to take them apart and clean and grease the valve. Thank goodness we mostly use 2,4-D and that doesn't kill everything!

i tried cleaning a few and replacing o rings, seems like the plastic in the wands get scored up and leak. i bought a couple replacement wands from rural king, i think they were only 20 dollars or so.
