Just enter your zip code and this place will tell you the exact time and how much totality you will see from your location. Plus, it will show you a gif of what to expect to see.

Yep, we are right in the path. Read last night that folks are renting their homes out for big bucks for the overnight stay. Some were renting a cot on a porch for $100 for 1 night.

Im suppose have around 30 - 35 people coming to park in the field. Im not really charging, just"taking donations". Have one group from Florida bringing up 5 motor homes. Sent me a check last week for $1000 bucks so Im not complaining! Actually, it the wife doing all of it. She has the day off and both kids will be home, so they are going to help her out. Ive been intensively training my youngest to use the telescope with the tracker and filter to get it all on video. I get to cut the field this weekend if I can, if not itll be next weekend.

Thought about heading south a couple of hours to see it. Guess I could pull into wal mart parking lot and watch it?

We're right in the path of totality west of Lincoln, NE. Totality will be shortly after 1:00. Where our courthouse personnel normally stagger lunch breaks to keep the place open over noon, at our Commissioner's meeting last week we voted to shut the courthouse down from 12:30 to 1:30 and let everyone take their lunch break then so they can watch the eclipse.

I ordered ten pair of eclipse glasses. Also, for an eclipse some years ago I stacked two filters in an arc welding helmet to watch the eclipse. Results between that and the glasses are about the same.

Where I am it's only 77%, don't really want to drive north to see it, so I went in the closet and turned out the light. Was amazing.
