Straight Roller Bearings

Need to replace two sets of wheel bearings on a Kewanee elevator. I would call them straight roller bearings. They fit on a 1.5 inch shaft, are 2.25 inches in
diameter and 4 inches long. Straight rollers are held by a cage at each end. Bearing fits into a sleeve that is cut length wise in a "V" shape to allow
compression/pressure on the inside of the wheel hub.

Who sells these type of bearings, or am I referring to them by the wrong name?

Had bearings that sound like yours on an old wagon I restored. I found the bearing but they were expensive so I made brass bushings. I assume the elevator does not get a lot miles on it so bushings would be fine.

here are some, but sadly there isn't any in the size you need, I hope someone posts another source for them, I was looking for a particular size at one time for the wheels on a cement mixer and checked with the bearing retailers and the cost was scary expensive.

Here are some pictures, but no sizes!

They are also called cylindrical roller bearings.
