Mike, you missed a hot 'un. More folks showed than I expected. Some of the younger ones were brave enough to enter the Tug-o-tractor when it was still 100 degrees. For those of you that aren't familiar with Tug-o-tractor, you start with a fairly stout tractor and a stout rope and then teams pull the tractor to the finish line for time. I'm staying in the house today. Gotta clean house anyway. John

I enjoyed the whole thing except heat, lots of nice tractors there. The whole jamboree thing was much more than I expected with all the barbecue cooking and bands. I wish I'd known which guy you were.
The best of show I thought was that MM 335 out of Temple, don't see many of those.

These 2 are mine. I like the MM too. Did you have a tractor there? My name is John Young. My cousin Bill Young was there too. I drove the Ford and he drove my Massey.

I didn't bring my jubilee this time, always check out the shows before hauling it. I missed several tractors cause I left Saturday. I was impressed by the number of show grade tractors there. Maybe I'll run across you at Temple show this year.

I will be there. I usually put my handle on the card on my tractor. I've met lots of folks that way. See you in a cooler October

I have heard of ropes breaking and people getting hurt in tug of war contests. Glad it went ok, but that is something you might not think of happening.

Looks like a good time for all there. I just sold some round bales to Ken who works in the beer stand there. We've spent the last 3 days moving round bales for a customer.
I bet there was some beer involved with the tug a tractor, either before or after, probably both. Thanks for the pics, John.

Hey John, glad things went well for you at the show. Nice to see a bigger crowd also. That Moline won it's class at the San Antonio Stock Show. Really a nice restoration. I hope you drank a Shiner for me when y'all did the afternoon ride! 😉Mike
