RRLund the show how was it?

May be I missed a post but assume your back. How was this Oliver show and where was it? Can you tell us anymore? Sadly lots of shows seem to be on the decline.
 
It was an all brand club show and turned out great. We're a new club,this was just the second annual show. We had around 125 tractors,a steam engine and thresher,a whole row of equipment plus some things hooked to tractors in the rows. It's like the woodpile was full of guys who were starving for a local club and show of our own right in our back yard. The feature was Cockshutt. There had been a dealer about four or five miles from where the show was held and they even had a good representation. I sure had a lot of good comments on the 500. Some of the guys told me right from the start to quit pointing out the flaws and nobody would notice. lol

I forgot the camera,but RayP(Mi) had his there taking a lot of pictures. Maybe he'll post some when he's done cutting oats today.
 
Randy, A local man wants to talk to a knowledgeable Oliver man. Would you be interested? If so, how can he contact you?
 
I could only cruise through in a hurry Friday. Was a impressive collection of tractors. Parked closer than cars in a used car lot. Not conducive to good photos. I didn't look at my camera as I went out the door - had my telephoto lens, kept backing into tractors in adjacent rows. May not be able to post, having trouble downloading camera ever since we got Windows 10.

Saturday, son Michael and a bunch of other 4-H leaders supervised the state 4-H Shooting Sports contest down by Bellevue MI
 
Depends on what he wants to know. I know enough to be dangerous. If it's technical stuff,JSchweibert might be your guy. You can drop me an email.
 
Better ask on the Oliver forum about that one. I put a new pump in a Super 55 one time,but as far as diagnosing anything I'd be clueless.
