How full do I fill the radiator on the unstyled A John Deere

Thermosyphon systems need some room. Just a little above fully covering the core should be good.

I fill mine about 2" below the top lip, if you put too much in it will come out of the radiator when it gets to operating temperature. That isn't a big deal, after that just note the level for future reference. I run straight water and drain it in the winter. My 85 year old Dad wants to run it with straight water, so out of respect for him that's what we do, someday it will get antifreeze. This tractor is just for fun, and we put an overdrive in it so it will do 16 mph.
