Priming day

The parts are back from the blaster for the JD LI, today is priming day, planning to spray them with a soaking coat of quick drying wax and grease remover, let dry, then shoot. I will get the paint ordered from the dealer and paint.

Quick dry wax and then prime? Any kind of wax is the last thing I would expose to metal I was going to paint. The grease remover will probably not remove all of it. I think you would be better off using a solvent such as lacquer thinner. There is a product called Prepsol Solvent which is especially made to prep for paint.

Priming day for me is tomorrow because of rain today. Hope you post pics when your done . always injoy seeing equipment with fresh Cote of paint
