Here is one tire that won't be going flat

I make portable gate post/corral post out of old tires. If I am having the ready mix truck in, I like to have a post with a X welded on it , inside a tire, ready to take any extra cement that wouldn't fit into the form. Just spark on some hinge eyes , and you can have a gate post that you can put any where, with out digging a hole , or breaking up your yard. And when you are done, or need it some where else , just pick it up with the loader , and away you go. You have already paid for the concrete , no point in sending it back to the plant. Bruce

At our church, years ago someone did this with two car tires and 2" pipe to make volley ball net posts. They're the one thing you won't see bored kids playing with!!

I used to go "junkin" years ago. One of my favorite spots was an OTR graveyard. One day I was working on some mirrors and came across this "new" tire on a wheel and asked the guy who oversees the place how much. He said that tire is a never-go-flat tire. He said it came from a concrete company and it's full of concrete. (later checked and it was stiff as a board. Forget now why he said they did that but that is another example of concrete in a tire/wheel assy.

Looks great Bruce,we used to have silicone filled tires on our feed cart because someone quite often seemed to get too wicked with the silage fork cleaning up around the silo

I did the same thing when the first of our kids graduated from high school. Also use them for family reunions, and neighbors borrow them for their grad parties. I actually did fix one when it went flat! Must have been a tough game.
